There’s this wonderful thing in Moscow called Babi Leto. It’s pretty much like Indian Summers in Illinois, except that it comes every year without fail and lasts at least ten days. There’s more sun and the days are warmer. Alyonka and I decided to celebrate the arrival of Babi Leto by walking to Biblio Globus to buy a grammar textbook I needed.
Alyonka poses with one of the many churches scattered throughout the city. Alyonka is from Kiev and sightseeing around Moscow reminds her of her hometown, although people are generally less friendly here.
