Moscow is a wheels-and-spokes city designed with concentric circles around Red Square. The metro also has this design. Roughly above the circle line of the metro is the Garden Ring, a multi-lane highway that features very few gardens.

Today I wanted to walk around the whole Garden Ring, but after about six miles (half of the circle and some wandering down side streets) my feet were done for the day. I did take some interesting pictures, but next time I’d prefer to walk through real gardens.
